Fiona
Fiona was found hiding in the courtyard of a medical clinic, skin and bone. She was regularly fed by the people there, but no one could catch her — she would only approach those she already knew, and even then, stayed at arm's length. If a stranger came near, she'd tuck herself away out of sight.

She's come a long way since then. Fiona is a very sensitive, adorable little girl who gets scared by loud words or sudden movements and can escape through the smallest gaps — but she shows no aggression at all and is learning to accept love from the humans around her. She's even started to seek out petting now, though still a little timidly.

Fiona doesn't seek out other dogs and doesn't play with them — she much prefers human affection and cuddling close to people, so she would most likely do best as an only dog. She would not be comfortable in a home with children, as sudden movements make her immediately curl up in fear.

A house with a garden would be ideal. Indoors, she shows no signs of separation anxiety and can stay alone nicely — she doesn't touch or destroy anything and sleeps calmly, happily resting in a warm, cozy dog bed.

Fiona is looking for a patient foster or forever family to welcome her into their loving home and give her the time she needs to keep building trust.
