Chia
Chia is a little girl, about 1 year old, who was hit by a car and then left behind. If nobody had helped, she would not have survived... she was found lying on the side of the road in freezing snow, unable to move.
At FAPF, we rushed her immediately to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with a pelvic fracture. Now recovering under our care, Chia deserves a second chance to find a loving home where she can heal and thrive. Your support helps us save lives like hers every day.
Chia is now a very happy strong little dog who has made a nice recovery but her back left leg did not regain full function. Because of this, she uses a wheelchair to support her body on longer walks but she is also very good at running and jumping around on 3 legs:)
She takes a moment to warm up to new people and new dogs, but once she knows you she is the queen of cuddles and affection. You will never be lonely once you have a dog like her:)
