Holly
Holly was born on March 30, 2018, and came to us after her owner sadly passed away. She is a small, gentle girl who is still learning to feel safe in a new environment.
Holly is very attached to Chris and takes a lot of comfort from his presence. When he is nearby, she feels braver, she will come out more, explore a little, and she walks nicely on leash while following him. Without him she can become very shut down, hiding and calling for him.
Because of this bond, we would ideally like to place them together. However, Holly has also started to show that with patience and the right support she may be able to adjust on her own as well.
She is good with cats and mostly neutral around other dogs. She currently lives with another dog in her foster home without issues, though she is not particularly interested in interacting with them. Holly will need a calm, patient home that can give her the time and understanding she needs to continue building confidence.
